Established in 2010, Major Oak Coaching Limited works with a growing number of Schools across the Midlands to deliver an engaging, exciting and structured PE curriculum.

Our team of professional Sports Coaches are all DBS checked, hold a number of UKCC and governing body coaching qualifications and are experienced school PE practitioners.

We firmly believe that Primary Physical Education helps form a positive attitude to health and fitness by encouraging children to participate in high quality and engaging activities from a young age. We take our responsibility very seriously and this is why we do not employ freelance sports coaches to deliver PE in Schools.

Many companies allow coaches with no formal PE training to work in schools on their behalf, this is a practice we firmly disapprove of. All our coaches are full time, permanent members of staff, who along with their Sports qualifications have undergone rigorous in-house training and are supported by a continual personal development program.

Our coach CPD process involves all of our coaches working in Schools as a Teaching Assistant to understand the importance of classroom and behavioural management. They also attend seminars delivered by Ofsted "Outstanding" teachers on teaching best practices.
 In addition, all our coaches are continually monitored in school, with a minimum of 2 lessons each half term being assessed by our senior leadership team.

In turn, the senior leadership team work with the school's leadership team to ensure funding and OFSTED regulations and guidelines are adhered to. From website updates to governor presentations, our leadership team will work with your school to ensure all administrative requirements for PE are met.
